Functions

• The developments & review of Provincial Housing Development plan
• Monitor allocation of subsidies to municipalities
• Provide housing inputs for National, Provincial and Municipal planning processes (PGDP, IDP, NEMA)
• Assist municipalities in the development of Housing Sector Plans and evaluation of housing chapter of IDPs
• Manage and maitain GIS
• Develop comprehensive Housing Development Strategy in the context of BNG
